I was trained as lyric singer at Royal Conservatory of Music of Brussels, in the classes of Marcel Vanaud and Marianne Pousseur, and at Flanders Operastudio of Gent, where I got to work with directors Vincent Boussard, Frédéric Dussenne, Vincent Van Den Elshout. Very interested into staging,
I got involved at the Operastudio as assistant director on Alcina, as an additional training right after graduating.
After what I started with singing and recording early music, with such ensembles as Choeur de Chambre de Namur, Scherzi Musicali and Vox Luminis, while teaching singing and directing. I kept training my voice with Eunice Arias, Ismini Giannakis, Matteo Carminati and Catrin Wyn Davies, and acting with Caroline Petrick.
Medium-high voice, my passion for poetry and languages drove me to study deeper the repertoire of songs and chamber music, such as german lieder and french songs, as well as songs in english, italian, spanish and portuguese. I am also very much inspired by jazz, folk & traditional music.
Also involved into writing, I write poems, fragments and short texts.
